FROM PROHIBITION TO PLAYSTATION
Versatile Performance Styles for Any Event

Ruby was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and since then has lived in Seattle, Hawaii, Vegas, and California, before she attended high school in the Bahamas and eventually ending up in South Florida. She was a theatre kid from a young age, performing in school & community productions and studying various types of dance and martial arts.
A sign of things to come occurred in high school in Nassau, Bahamas. In her tenth grade year, her school eliminated its drama program, so Ruby took it upon herself to start an after school theatre program and directed a stage production of The Nightmare Before Christmas, to rave reviews. Ten years later, she debuted her Tim Burton themed burlesque revue Burtonlesque at the Kelsey Theater.
Besides what happens on stage, Ruby is committed to all of the work that takes place behind the scenes. She taught herself how to sew and learned corset making from internet tutorials, and creates the majority of her costumes & props from scratch. She takes pride in the art of stage makeup and costuming, and spends countless hours refining her craft.
Ruby has a deep passion for cinema and studied it in college at UCF in Orlando. She worked as a professional video editor & director for six years. Today, when she’s not performing on stage, Ruby works as a producer, coordinating and overseeing commercials, music videos, reality shows, and more, all around the world.

CLASSIC BURLESQUE
ELEGANCE & GLAMOUR OF A BYGONE ERA
Corsets, sparkles, and feathers - oh my! When you think of 1920s-1960s elegant, feisty striptease artists, that is classic burlesque. The styles of the early to mid 20th century come alive on stage in the 21st in full color.
NERDLESQUE
FANTASY/SCI FI CHARACTER STRIPTEASE
Also known as cosplay burlesque, at a Nerdlesque show, you might see performers dressed as aliens, knights, fairies, or stormtroopers. Nothing is too weird or too obscure for this unique genre of striptease.
NEO/FETISH/SPECIALTY
SIDESHOW, FIRE, KINK, AND MORE
Burlesque often incorporates elements of other styles of performance arts from the circus and kink worlds. You might see a nearly naked dancer eating fire, shooting sparks from power tools, or pouring hot wax onto the skin.
